Linda Ann Young, 81, of New Vienna, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2022.
She was born in Locust Grove on May 21, 1940, the daughter of the late Glenn and Mary Grace (Copeland) Knechtly.
Linda is survived by her son, Terry David (Deana Lauf) Young of Delphos; daughter, Lisa Massey of New Vienna; grandchildren, Eric (Andrea) Massey and Kirk (Kathy Blackburn) Massey; great-grandchild, Eli Massey; brother, John (Phyllis) Knechtly of Miamisburg; sisters, Ora Mae Smith of St. Louis, Mo. and Barbara Ruth Snyder of Wilmington; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Young, on Sept. 2, 2016; brother, Gene Knechtly; and sister, Betty Bobb.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at noon at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Lees Creek Cemetery in Clinton County.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the Thompson Funeral Home.
