Larry Wayne Sonner

Larry Wayne Sonner, 84, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. 

He was born Oct. 7, 1939 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Hoyt and Virginia Stephens Sonner. 

Mr. Sonner was a retired machinist with the Chrysler Corporation in Dayton. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and had been a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens.  

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Witham Sonner, whom he married on May 1, 1965; one son, Mark W. Sonner of Dayton; one grandson, Kenneth Sonner of Kentucky; two brothers, Lynn (Pat) Sonner and Keith (Marsha) Sonner of Hillsboro; and two nephews, Brian and Brad Sonner. 

Mr. Sonner’s wishes were that at his death that he be cremated and no services be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice, 1669 Rombach Avenue, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. 

The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
