Larry E. Potter, 77, of New Vienna, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born Nov. 28, 1943 in Wilmington, the son of the late William Edward Potter and Mabel Louise Huston Potter.
Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Potter, whom he married May 17, 1997; three sons, James Potter, Rodney Shaffer and Kris (Yolanda) Potter; one daughter, April (Keith) McGuire; one stepdaughter, Billie Jo Wilson; a sister, Dorothy Shelton; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two grandsons, Zachary Shaffer and Dustin Potter.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, 2-4 p.m.
