Kirmith L. "Sis" Dornbusch, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday evening, May 15, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 15, 1945 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Edward Fawley and Dorothy Holladay Fawley.
She was a foster parent for 24 years and attended church at the Freedom Fellowship Church in Hillsboro.
She is survived by three sons, Davey (Debbie) Tong, Mark Tong and Ronald (Shannon) Dornbusch; two daughters, Dorothy Shanks and Pamela Miller; brother, Gene (Brenda) Fawley; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Kirmith was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Pops" Dornbusch; son, Kenneth Tong; uncle, Benson Holladay, Jr.; sister, Nellie Lawwill; and daughter-in-law, Glenna Tong.
Services will be held at the Freedom Fellowship Church, May 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Fannin officiating. Interment will follow in the Auburn Cemetery, Hillsboro.
Friends will be received at the church Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
