Kenneth L. Rudy, 93, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio.
He was born Tuesday, July 11, 1916 in Miami County, Ohio, the son of the late Samuel A. Rudy and the late Cora Minnick Rudy.
He was a member of Hillsboro First United Methodist Church and the Highland County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Rudy, whom he married June 2, 1938; three sons, Jerry (Kathy) Rudy of Enon, Ohio, Douglas (Darlene) Rudy, of Pleasanton, Kansas, and Samuel (Judy) Rudy of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Rudy, and two sisters, Millie Fine and Beatrice Durand.
Friends will be received 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday, December 3 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Friday, December 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Bill Kirby officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Ohio, on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at 11 a.m.
