Kathy Sue Free, 58, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born June 3, 1963, in Washington C.H., the daughter of Orville and Edna May (Lyle) Knisley.
Kathy was a 1981 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. She retired from Greenfield Research after 30 years of employment.
She is survived by her husband, Roy “Eddie” Free, whom she married Dec. 24, 1988; two daughters, Alexandra Free (T.J. Kirk) of Heath and Mariah Lynn (Ryan) Daugherty of Bainbridge; three grandchildren, Kolby, Karsyn and Addison; two sisters, Carol Ann Wiseman of Findlay and Teresa Knisley of Greenfield; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Williams; three nephews, Jacob Easter, Monty Williams and Henry Penwell; and both parents.
Funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jay Fabin officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
