Karen Marie Robinette, 61, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born Aug. 20, 1959 in Hanover, Pa., the daughter of James and Mildred (Luckabaugh) Kline.
Karen was a wonderful nurse at Heartland of Hillsboro for 31 years. She cared for each and every patient. She loved her family and was a very strong individual.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Robinette, whom she married April 22, 1979; two daughters, Melissa (Preston) Phillips and Lisa McKenzie; one son, Chadley (Nikki) Robinette; grandchildren, Brandon and Braylon Robinette, Abby and Andrew McKenzie and five adopted grandchildren; her parents, James and Mildred Kline; three brothers, Brad (Luz) Kline, Kevin (Marilyn) Kline and Steve (Jenny) Miller; one brother-in-law, Rusty (Darleen) Robinette; one sister-in-law, Malinda (Charlie) Rico; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kelly (Diane) Kline; and brother-in-law, Mike (Tammy) Robinette.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Roy Middleton officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 30 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
