June Marcille Faust, 89, of Pricetown, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
She was born Feb. 24, 1928 in New Vienna, the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Watson) Orebaugh.
Mrs. Faust was a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ, where she was well-known for playing the organ and piano and serving as a Sunday school teacher. She was a farmer’s wife and mother all her life and supported her boys in every activity and adventure. She loved her family, church family and friends. She was active in Farm Bureau women’s events and the Highland District Hospital Cherry Twig. She also served as a school secretary in the Lynchburg-Clay School District.
Mrs. Faust is survived by three sons, Jim (Karen) Faust of Pricetown, John (Cyndi) Faust of Katy, Texas and David (Candy) Faust of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Mark (Jessica) Faust, Todd (Tiffany) Faust, Robb (Brenda) Faust, Rich Faust, Kelly Faust, Matt Faust, Michelle (Charles) Webster and Melinda (Peter) McCulloch; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Orebaugh of Young Harris, Ga.; and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Faust, on March 17, 2011.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 15 following visitation at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Daryl Mount will be officiating. Burial will follow services in the Barker Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in June’s name to the Pricetown Church of Christ, 2070 State Route 131, Hillsboro 45133.
