Juanita Gay Bailey, 87, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021.
She was born in Chillicothe on July 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Okey and Anna Mae (Bennett) Richards.
Juanita is survived by her sons, Keith Bailey of Chillicothe and Todd (Roberta) Bailey of Northern Ohio; daughter, Kimberly Bailey of Hillsboro; brother, Theodore Richards of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Juanita (Eddie Bryant) Straight, Scott (Dena) Deaton, Erica (Andrew Franklin) Miller, Amy (Rick) Throckmorton, Zackery Bailey, Precious Bailey, Kevin (Amanda) Bailey, Todd Bailey, Jr., Blake, Hunter, River Bailey, Makalah, McKenna, McKensey Bailey and Liam; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bailey Sr., on Nov. 30, 1999; son, Kenneth Bailey Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Miller and Christy Bailey; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dunn's Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of services at the Thompson Funeral Home.
