John Stanley Grisham, 71, of Peebles, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Ky.
He was born on July 25, 1950, in Brown County, the son of the late Paul and Maxine (Ruggles) Grisham.
John, along with his wife Judy, owned and operated The Village Inn Restaurant in Peebles for several years before they retired. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Hillsboro.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy (Caudill) Grisham, whom he married May 17, 1969; three daughters, Michelle (Casey) McDaniels of Sinking Spring, Tammy (Britt) Cluff of Sardinia and Patty (Nick) Byers of Peebles; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Rylin John Cluff; one brother, Eugene Grisham; and two sisters, Ruth Walz and Christine Williams.
The wishes of the deceased will be observed with private family services. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
