John Day, 59, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021.
He was born in West Union on May 3, 1961, the son of the late Asberry and Josephine (Fay) Day.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two nephews, Charles Day and James Garrett.
John is survived by his wife, Virginia Day; a daughter, Nikki (Robert) Barber of Mt. Orab; three grandchildren, Lily, Addy and Baylor; a brother, Herb (Patty) Day of Hillsboro; a sister, Karen (Gary) Miller of Hillsboro; special friend, John Morris of Hillsboro; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday May 6 at the Southside Praise & Worship Center. Burial will follow at the Bethel Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday at the church.
