Jody Williamson Gulley, 49, of Hillsboro passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at the OSU James Center in Columbus.
Jody was born June 27, 1967 in Greenfield, the daughter of Margaret (Spence) Malicote of Hillsboro and John E. (Shellie) Williamson of New Vienna.
Jody was a 1985 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She was a member of the Fairview Chapel Church. She worked at Plexus Worldwide, Rittenhouse & Associates, Nail Tech at The Styling Den and Wilkin Heating and Cooling. Jody had a passion for horses and was a member of the APHA and OPHC. She served as a 4H adviser for the Ready, Set, Show Club.
Beside her parents, she is survived by her husband, Earl Gulley whom she married on Jan. 17, 1986; a son, Eric (Rachel) Gulley of Hilliard; a daughter, Rachael Gulley of Columbus; two grandchildren, Dax and Lilly Gulley; two brothers, Adam (Sondi) Williamson of Bainbridge and Jonathan Williamson of Leesburg; a sister, Erin (Danny) Bales of Leesburg; mother-in-law, Pamela Kiser of Hillsboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Trang Gulley of Florida; nieces and nephews, Addison and Alyssa Bales, Rexton and Landon Williamson, Jennifer and Jeremy Gulley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hightop Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Family requests memorials to the Highland County Animal Shelter or Carolyn’s Crusaders for American Heart Association.
