Jerry G. Furguson, 67, of Sardinia, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Fairfield Mercy Hospital in Fairfield.
He was born Feb. 12, 1954 in Jamestown, the son of the late Harold Glenn Furguson and Jennie Louise Wallace Furguson.
Surviving are his son, Wayne E. (Amber) Furguson of Lynchburg; daughter, Sennie Zimmerman of Sardinia; sister, Etta “Sissy” Mojica of Hillsboro; brother, Kenny (Brenda) Furguson of Bluff City, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, Brittany, Latasha, Amanda and Quentin; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by four brothers, Danny Ray “Boony” Furguson, Berry Gene Furguson, James Furguson and Robert D. Furguson; and two infant brothers, Keith and Bruce Furguson.
Memorial services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home, Thursday, June 24, 2021, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
