Jerry E. Patten, 77, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home.
He was born Jan. 31, 1945 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Stanley R. and Grace (Miller) Patten.
Mr. Patten was a proud veteran of the United States Army and had retired from the Ford Motor Company after 41 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin (Hall) Patten, whom he married May 21, 2001; nine children, Jerry Patten Jr., Matthew Patten, Angie Nutley, Leslie Molen, Tamara Gibson, Ashley Hall, Tara (Joseph Potts-Harperee) Kelly, Michael Kelly and Aaron Hall; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Ann Jeffers and Janice Kelley; and a brother, Stanley Rochelle Patton.
In keeping with his wishes, Jerry was cremated. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
