Jeffrey Shepherd, 55, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born July 11, 1966 in Wilmington, the son of James Gilbert and Betty Jean (Dalton) Shepherd Sr. of Martinsville.
Jeff worked for the family tree trimming and logging business and had attended Wilmington City Schools. He was a member of AA.
In addition to his parents, other surviving family members are his sisters, Jackie Stone of Carrabelle, Fla. and Janet Smith of New Vienna; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, James G. “Jimmy” and Jane Shepherd Jr; uncle, Larry Shepherd; and niece, Janis Shepherd.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Interment will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Martinsville, Ohio. Masks and social distancing are requested.
The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 28 from 9-10 a.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
