Jeffrey R. Jury, 60, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at home.
He was born Oct. 15, 1961 in Greenfield, the son of James E. and Phyllis (Matthews) Jury.
He was a 1980 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He enjoyed traveling with family and collecting and selling antiques.
He served 25 years as sergeant of the Greenfield Police Department and then retired from the Highland County Sheriff Department.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie D. (Jackman) Jury, whom he married May 24, 1997; four daughters, Sara (Robert) Livingston of Greenfield, Hannah (Kevin) Lipscomb of Lebanon, KC (Justin) Sword of Greenfield and Karisa (Benjamin) Jones of Hillsboro; one son, Zachary Anderson (Ekko Lane) of Greenfield; 10 grandchildren, Emmalynn, Matthew and John Livingston, Cody and Chance Lane, Emry and Silas Anderson, Caleb Sword and Noah and Clara Jones; mother, Phyllis Jury of Greenfield; one brother, Jim (Donna) Jury of Louisville; one niece, Samantha Jury; one nephew, Jacob Jury; and two very special family friends that were like sons to Jeff, Steve and Michael Fryer.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Jury; father, James Jury; and mother-in-law, Betty Jackman.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 10 at 1 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
