Jeffrey L. Aeh, 47, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully late Saturday afternoon, March 24, 2018 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
Jeffrey was born March 12, 1971 in Portsmouth, the son of the late Eugene Aeh and Carol F. (Greathouse) Wolfe of Hillsboro.
He attended the Hills and Dales Training Center and later worked for Highco for several years. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and the Peace Lutheran Model Railroad Club. Jeffrey enjoyed model cars, model trains, jigsaw puzzles and “loved helping” anyone.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, David E. Aeh of Richmond, Ky.; several aunts and uncles, including Ellis (Kerrie) Greathouse of Portsmouth, Dale (Donna) Greathouse of Heath, Doris (Tom) Butler of Hudson, Fla., Juanita (Floyd) Phillips of Gooseneck, S.C., Joan Aeh, Wanda Phipps, Gary (Carol) Aeh and Judy Reed, all of Portsmouth, Kevin (Cathy) Wolfe of New York, Cortland Wolfe of Denver, Colo., Robin (Ron) Pavlosky of Williamsburg, Va., Chris (Susan) Wolfe of Junction City and Lincoln (Maureen) Wolfe of Racine, Wis.; two nephews, Joseph (Carrie) Aeh of Pikeville and Nathan James Aeh of Richmond, Ky.; as well as numerous cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Phillips Wolfe; and an uncle, Roy Aeh.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Peace Lutheran Church, 231 Harry Sauner Road, Hillsboro. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held immediately following visitation at 11 a.m. Pastor Robert Skipper will officiate. A meal in Jeffrey’s honor will be held at the conclusion of services on Saturday at the church.
