Jean Gabriel Hill, 87, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Bell Gardens Place in Hillsboro.
She was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Charles W. Hill and Lena Belle (Smithson) Hill.
Jean was a 1952 Hillsboro High School graduate, and she attended the Miami University in Oxford. She loved California and lived in the Palm Desert area for 40 years, before moving back to Hillsboro in 1998.
Jean is survived by her niece, Diana (John) Jones of Hillsboro; two nephews, William “Billy” (Rhonda) Mason III of Hillsboro and Tom (Sandy) Mason of Cold Springs, Ky.; her brother-in-law, William C. “Bill” Mason of Hillsboro; and many great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Anne Mason; and a niece, Kathy McDonough.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
