Janice Marie Wardlow

Janice Marie Wardlow, 79, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
 
She was born Nov. 4, 1944 in Cheshire, the daughter of Ernest E. and Eileen (Gardner) Halley.
 
She retired from Candle-lite of Leesburg after 31 years of employment and was of the Baptist faith.
 
She is survived by her husband, George Steven Wardlow, whom she married Dec. 12, 1964; two daughters, Tammy (Jerry) Matheis and Lisa (Jason) Gianakopoulos; six grandchildren, Jonathan Matheis, Codi (Wesley) Hunter, Tori Matheis, Brandon Page, Adam Page and Nick Page; one great-grandson, Ozzy Hunter; one sister, Rita (Steve) Little; one brother, Gene (Connie) Halley; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Mitchell and Shirley Ahsaruk; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
 
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
