Janeille Ann Cummings, 31, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 at Bethesda Arrow Spring Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born July 29, 1990 in Marietta, Ga., the daughter of Jack Lynn Cummings and Jo Ellen (Mawyer) Cummings.

She is currently an angel but previously was a sister,  a daughter, an aunt, a friend and most importantly, a mother. She was caring, selfless and a blessing to everyone she touched. She loved family, friends and any idea of an opportunity or occasion for loved ones to come together. She always went above and beyond for any celebration, from a Friday to celebrate the end of a work week to a birthday to celebrate a special someone’s day.

Always with a smile on her face, she would push to make the best out of any situation. With optimism spilling from her cup, she would never hesitate to share it with others rather than let it go to waste. She was a true living angel and set an example of how to live life while we are here on this earth together.

Surviving are her three children, Kaleyah Zione, Ja'kylen Cummings and Kingsley Cummings, all of Wilmington; mother, Jo Ellen Cummings of Wilmington; father, Jack Cummings of Florida; sister, Jovan  (Derrick) Cassell of New Vienna; brother, Ronnie Cummings of Wilmington; six nephews, Phillip Davis II, Pharrell Davis, Phayden Mawyer, Je'lavhn Davis, Derrick Cassell Jr. and Xander Cassell; special family members; papaw, Tim; boyfriend, Kai Johnson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Janeille was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ann Guadagna; maternal grandfather, Richard Mawyer; paternal grandmother, Barbara Cummings; and paternal grandfather, Ronald Cummings.
