Jane Shaw, 77, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at Bethesda North Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1940 in New Vienna, the daughter of the late Paul Smithson and Dorothy (Ward) Smithson Pfister of Hillsboro.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Jerry; three children, Michael “Mick” Griffith of Lynchburg, Melanie (David) Seaman of New Vienna and Marty (Dana) Griffith of Honey Grove, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Brad, Brandi, Chad, Ryan, Lindsay, Blake, Brandon, Tony, Jerrod, Kaycie and Cody; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Bob) McMullen of Hillsboro and Judy Mason of Lynchburg; as well as several aunts, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mark W. Griffith and Toni E. Griffith II.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Daryl Mount will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
