Jane Johnson, 69, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born Sept. 21, 1946 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Vernon and Velma A. Lewis Edgington.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Lions Club and attended church at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Michael Johnson of Hillsboro, whom she married June 20, 1966; son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Teresa P. Johnson of Lexington, Ky.; a sister, Vickie Hetzell of Hillsboro; brother, William (Donna) Edgington of Hamersvile; and a halfbrother, Larry (Chris) Edgington of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by two sons, Chrissy and Billy Johnson; two halfbrothers, Kenneth and Donald Edgington; and a halfsister, Barbara Cochran.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, at noon Saturday, Jan. 30 with the Rev. Derek Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Following the burial, services and a luncheon will be held in Robison Hall at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Friday, Jan. 29 from 5-7 p.m.
