Jane Faye Weiss, 82, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

She was born July 8, 1942 in Rarden, the daughter of the late Lloyd Mullins, Sr. and Goldie Woods.

Faye loved baking, going antiquing and finding a good yard sale. Her biggest joy in life was taking care of her family. She especially loved to watch her grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her son, Mark (Terri) Weiss of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Nora (Mike) Darcy,and Josh (Amanda) Muncy; great-grandchildren, Rowan Darcy, Noah Darcy, Micha Darcy and Sophia Muncy; siblings, Kay Stamper, David Steele, Mike (Mattie) Steele, Lora Mounts, Linda Estes and Sharon Scarberry; aunt, Carol and Guy Bentley; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bo” Weiss; and brothers, Lloyd Mullins Jr., Brad Elmore and Burl Elmore.

In keeping with her wishes, Faye will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
