James Dean “Jimmy” Beavers, 54, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1967 in Hillsboro, the son of Verlin Dean and Ruth E. (Claggett) Beavers.
Jimmy was a 1986 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and attended the Gathering Place in Washington C.H.
He was employed at Beavers Auto Sales of Chillicothe and was former owner/operator of Beavers Trucking.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Shaunda Countryman of Chillicothe; one daughter, McKayla E. Beavers; one son, Jacob D. Beavers; both parents; five aunts, Shirley Fuller of Latham, Cheryl (Ed) Colegrove of Waverly, Vicki (Jerry) Pennington of Waverly, Debbie (Jeff) Adams of Bainbridge and Bernice Beavers of Latham; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by three uncles, John P. Claggett, Herschell Beavers and Paul E. Wright; and one aunt, Margene Wright.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
