James "Cowboy" Fife, 61, of Hillsboro, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Sunday morning, Aug. 28, 2016 in Hillsboro.
He was born Feb. 6, 1955 in Wilmington, the son of the late Richard A. and Francis Howell Fife.
James was a 1974 graduate of Wilmington High School.
He is survived by his son, Jesse (Amanda) Fife of Hillsboro; granddaughter, Harper Lee Fife; two sisters, Carol Fife of Hillsboro and Ginger (Cliff) Kothera of Hillsboro; brother, Gary (Nikki) Brown of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home on Sept. 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Josh Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery in New Antioch, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St., Wilmington, on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, from 4-8 p.m.
