Jacob C. "Jake" Wilson, 26, of Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1995 in Wilmington, the son of Garrett Wade Wilson and Amy Jo Truman.
Jake was a graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, received his associate's degree from Chatfield College, and graduated from Wilmington College with his bachelor's degree. He was a former 4-H member and was an avid Pokemon fan.
Surviving are his parents, Wade and Amy Wilson of Lynchburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jake was preceded in death by his brother, Dallas Wade Wilson; maternal grandparents, David and Evelyn Truman; and paternal grandparents, Garrett and Ada Wilson.
Graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery, Pondlick Road Hillsboro, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Drew Gibson officiating.
