Jack L. Lemaster

Jack L. Lemaster, 77, of Washington Court House, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024 at Adena Fayette Medical Center, Washington Court House.

He was born April 15, 1947, in Frankfort, a son of the late Roscoe and Emma Fultz Lemaster.
 
Jack was a 1965 graduate of Frankfort High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jack worked construction throughout the Chillicothe and Ross County area. He enjoyed fishing, watching races at 35 Raceway, watching his grandchildren in their sporting events, and later in life enjoyed playing bingo, chess and other games at Court House Manor.

He is survived by his four children, David Lemaster of Circleville, Jackie (Shawn) Lewis of Kingsland, Georgia, JR (Melissa) Lemaster of Washington Court House and Deana Lemaster of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Tiearea, Madison, Samantha, Shawna, Tanner, Hailey, Bentley and Jayden; five great-grandchildren, Jack Jr., Alichi, Vanzel, Sigurd and Layla; one sister, Paulette Warner of Chillicothe; one brother, James (Rhonda) Lemaster; one brother-in-law, Jim Kendall of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Kendall; one brother, Don Lemaster; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Warner. 
 
A funeral service for Jack will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Family and friends may visit with Jack’s family Thursday from 11 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist the family in paying funeral costs.
