Howard R. “Butch” Everhart

Howard R. “Butch” Everhart, 77, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 at his son’s home. 

He was born Jan. 17, 1947 near Humbolt in Ross County, the son of the late Howard L. and Beatrice Linton Everhart. 

Butch was a 1965 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He retired from the Greenfield Exempted Village Schools where he worked as a custodian and bus driver. 
  
He is survived by his wife, Rita A. Everhart, of Bainbridge, two sons, Shiloh (Ilene) Everhart of Lynchburg and Jeff (Mindy) Everhart of Greenfield; two grandchildren; and one sister, Leona Everhart, of Dayton. 

He was preceded in death by one sister, Rose Griffith. 
 
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in the South Salem Cemetery. Arrangements were in care of the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield. Those who wish to share a memory of Butch and sign his register may do so at www.ebrightfuneralhome.com.
