Helen Lavonne (Hull) Davis, 98, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 at home.
 
She was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Clarence G. and Inez (Lucas) Hull.
 
Helen was a 1944 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ.
 
She was a former billing clerk for the Highland County Water Company and REA (Rural Electric Association).
 
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Sue (Tim) Wilson of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Christopher and Sarah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Davis, on Jan. 19, 1968; one son in infancy, Thomas Melvin Davis; five sisters, Roma Evans, Doris Collins, Mary Smith, Joanne Chamblin and Barbara Wilson; three brothers, Lawrence William Hull, John Arthur Hull and Robert Lee Hull; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
