Heidi L. Burns, 23, of Sardinia, passed away Saturday night, Oct. 24, 2015 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 26, 1991 in Cincinnati, the daughter of David E. and Sandra M. (Brunner) Burns.

Heidi was a 2010 graduate of Eastern High School, graduated Southern State Community College with her associate's degree and was attending Wilmington College.

In addition to her parents, Heidi is survived by two brothers, David E. Burns II and Matthew L. Burns; maternal grandmother, Kathy Brunner; aunts and uncles, Stephan L. Burns, Danny (Emily) Burns, Harry Brunner, Don Adams and Larry Dean (Joyce) Burns; cousins, Eric Adams, Don (Samantha) Brumfield, Mary Katherine (Adam) Pierce, Michael (Breanna) Brunner, Shannon Reed, Sara Burns, Garret Burns and Anna Burns; second cousins, Katherine and Kelly Brumfield and Addison Pierce; and numerous great aunts and uncles.

Heidi was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Louis (Shirley) Burns; maternal grandfather, Harry Brunner; and two aunts, Tammy Brunner and Dianne Adams.

Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 4 p.m.

Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 from 2-4 p.m.
