Heidi K. Stevens, 48, of Hillsboro, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 2, 2017 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Heidi was born April 17, 1969 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Donald and Christine (Kroschke) Curl.
Heidi had a contagious smile and was a very happy person who loved her family, friends and her Boxer dogs.
Heidi was a 1987 graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Southern State Community College. Later, Heidi received her paraprofessional degree and was employed with Haugland Learning Center, where she was working with special needs children for the past 14 years.
On June 1, 1993, Heidi was united in marriage to Craig P. Stevens, who survives. She is also survived by a son, Jacob Craig Stevens of Hillsboro; a daughter, Felicia (Matthew) Forsythe of Sardinia; a brother, Nick (Barb) Greco of Cincinnati; a sister, Joann Willey of Grafton, N.D.; lifelong friend, Jennifer Branham of Hillsboro; and a host of friends.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Curl.
A celebration of life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Union Church of Christ, 3021 North Taylorsville Road, Hillsboro, with Andrew Johnson officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2-4 p.m. at the Union Church of Christ.
Family suggests memorials to the Highland County Humane Society, P.O. Box 471, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
