Harvey Andrew "Andy" Pollock, 90, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1934 in Fayette County to the late Herbert and Lulu (Burner) Pollock. 

He was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School. Andy was a farmer and also worked at Armco Steel as a highly skilled welder. He was a lifetime member of the former Gregg Street Church of Christ and Heritage Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, farming, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and had a love for old tractors.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Betty Jo (Reed) Pollock, whom he married on Aug. 22, 1953; children, Deborah Ebright, Denise Hinton, Amy (Danny) Reeves, and Tim (Sonya) Pollock; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Lynn Pollock; and siblings, Clarence Pollock, Mabel Walker, Arthur Pollock, Herbert Pollock, Adeline Huff, Cora Graham and Helen Beechler.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 at the Heritage Church (1867 U.S. 35 NW, Washington C.H., OH 43160) with the Rev. Joe Duvall officiating, with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Monday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care they provided during this challenging time.

Memorial may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Dr., Columbus 43205.
