Harriett Jane Sellers, 77, of Greenfield died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at
Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
She was born March 17, 1932 in Greenfield, to the late Clarence and
Louise (Wright) Sommers.
She graduated from McClain High School in 1950. She was a member of the
Y-Gradale Sorority and the Order of the Eastern Star. She formerly worked as
a laboratory technologist at Greenfield Area Medical Center and Fayette
Memorial Hospital.
She married James H. Sellers on June 16, 1950; he preceded her in death
on Nov. 19, 2004.
She is survived by two sons, David P. (Deborah) Sellers of Springfield,
and James R. “Rick” (Lynn) Sellers of Centerville; five grandchildren,
Robbie, Andrew, Kerri, Michael and Matt Sellers; two sisters, Mary Ann
(John) Larkin of Greenfield and Barbara Adams of Germantown; and one
brother, David (Lois) Sommers of Stone Mountain, Ga.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at a later date at
Greenfield Cemetery.
Calling hours will not be observed.
