Harold Brummett, 85, of Sardinia, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.  

He was born Aug. 18, 1935 in Pineville, Ky., the son of Rufus and Martha (Brock) Brummett.

He is survived by one daughter, Betty Lou (Charles) Hensley of Mt. Orab; one son, Junior Brummett of Ripley; nine grandchildren, Christina Louise Hensley, Kayla Sue Hensley, Bailey Kaitlin Madison Hensley, Shane Lee Brummett, Julia Ann Coleman, Jessie Brummett, Tiffany Brummett, Samantha Brummett and Leesa Gumm; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Brummett, on Aug. 20, 2016; one son, Leroy Brummett; and eight siblings.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Holiness Church, 1820 state Route 125, Amelia with Pastor James Reeder officiating. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery. Facial coverings will be required, and social distancing will be observed.
