Ghila Marie Helterbrand, 60, of Hillsboro, passed away Oct. 16, 2024 at Monarch Meadows in Seaman.

She was born Feb. 17, 1964 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Sheila Mae Bell Brewer.

Ghila had the biggest heart and a smile on her face. She was always willing to help anyone without ever thinking of herself. Ghila loved her family, especially all the babies. She always held a special place in her heart for her dog, Phoebe.

Ghila is survived by her sisters, Sandra (Ronald) Mullenix of New Market and Cynthia (Wayne) Tarvin of Florida; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Market Cemetery.
