Gene Frank Beckman, 90, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 at his home.
He was born April 1, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Carl and Mary (Rostohar) Beckman.
He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his children, Ralph (Sandy) Beckman, Martin (Lisa) Beckman, Roberta (Michael) Leach and Heidi (Bill) Looney; five grandchildren, Kim (Johnny) Swidergal, Luke Looney, Jessica and Amber Latham and Molly Beckman; and one sister, Margaret (Gary) Krause.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anneliese Beckman, on Sept. 14, 2020; one daughter, Diane; one brother, Ralph; and one sister, Mary.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
