Gene E. Wolfe, 82, of Logan, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at Logan Care and Rehabilitation.

He was born on May 26, 1938 in War, W.Va., the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Virgie Ruth (Bell) Wolfe.

He worked in retail sales for many years.

He is survived by his children, Timothy (Kerstin) Wolfe of Germany, Michael (Susie) Wolfe of Dayton, Terry (Traci) Wolfe of Logan and Pamela (Todd) Pointer of Wilmington; a stepdaughter, Pamela Ellison and stepson, Randy Wall, both of Princeton, W.Va.; special cousin, Judy Salyer of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jane, Stephan, Emily, Ashlyn, Elyssa and Miles Wolfe, Jordan and Noah Jackson and Brianna Cordle; several great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelena J. Wolfe.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Nov. 24 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro, followed by a funeral service at noon with Leo Kuhn officiating.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. Facial covering will be required and social distancing will be observed.
