Gary Lee Brandenburg, 67, of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
He was born June 9, 1954 in Wilmington, the son of Willis and Bobbie (Carmack) Brandenburg.
He was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Crum) Brandenburg; one son, Chad (Diana) Brandenburg of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Kylie, Camden and Colton; one great-grandchild, Brynlee; mother, Bobbie Middleton of Florida; siblings, Bryan (Susie) Middleton, Mark (Dawn) Middleton and Cari Blake, all of Florida, and Traci Geary of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Brandenburg; and stepfather, Dale Middleton.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
