Garry Lee Wheeler of Cincinnati, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 after a two-year courageous battle with cancer.

He was 63.

Garry was the ninth of 10 siblings and was the youngest brother. He was preceded in death by Avery and Stella Wheeler, parents; and his brothers, Ray Earl and Avery Jordan.

Garry is survived by his sisters, Mary Moberly of Hillsboro, Marlene Scott of Summerton, S.C., Lois Johnson of Hudson, Fla., Shirleen Philpot of Suwanee, Ga., Michelle Snyder of Coatesville, Pa.; and brothers, Roy Wheeler of Newton, N.C. and Jerry Wheeler of Florence, Ky.

All who knew Garry, knew he enjoyed cooking and eating – we will truly miss his sense of humor and compassion for God, family and life.

Garry worked 29 years at Staffmark, with co-workers whom he considered his other family. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army and requested that all memorial tributes be made to the Veterans Support Foundation.

Memorial services to be announced at the convenience of the family.

The Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, Ohio 45140 is serving the family.
