G. Carlene Garrison, 85, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home.
She was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Warren County, the daughter of the late Herman Russell and Goldie Woodell Russell.
She retired from Lucas-Ledex after 30 years of service.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Stubbs of Wilmington, Shirley Shaffer of Dayton, Patricia Steik of Oxford and Teresa (Jim) Hensley of Clarksville, and one son, David (Anita) Garrison of Wilmington. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Zimri (Tresa) Stubbs, Jr., Leroy (Debbie) Stubbs, Tina (Mike) Stroud, James Stubbs, Greg Thomas, Michelle Minton, Michael Chambers, John C. Hensley, Christy Nichols, Benjamin Hensley, Kyle Patrick Hensley, Tristan (Sara) Garrison, Jordan Garrison; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean LeForge, Betty (Dowell) Flynn and Vicki (Lynn) Harperee; a brother, Paul Edward Russell; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Garrison, who passed away in 2003; two sisters, Karen Russell and Mary Alice Shelton; brother-in-law, Samuel LeForge; and son-in-law, Zimri Stubbs.
Graveside services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Monday, July 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike J. Carosiello officiating. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
