Frederick M. Osborne, 85, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1936 in Naples, Ky., the son of Marvin E. and Anna B. (Stewart) Osborne.
He was a 1956 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He retired from Mac Tools, Inc in Washington C.H. and Ahresty Corp. in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Hudnall) Osborne, whom he married April 20, 1962; three daughters, Angela (Randy) Stitt, Trina (David) Allen and Cheryl (Bill) Mollett; one son, Fredd Osborne; 12 grandchildren, Kristin, Stephanye, Lyle, Chase, Wyatt, Abigail, Lucas, Kali, Elizabeth, Justin, Ella and Oleisha; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Ava and Audrey; one sister, Shirley McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Frederick James Osborne and Mirle Gene Mollett; two sisters, Linda Garrett and Candy Finn; two brothers, David Osborne and Daniel Osborne; one daughter-in-love, Sandra Boyce Osborne; and both parents.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery with military rites provided by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield.
There will not be a visitation observed.
