Forrest Edward Puckett, 59, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at his home.

He was born on July 26, 1960 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Forrest Lindel and Theresa Mae (Mershon) Puckett. 

He was a former employee of Ahresty Wilmington Corp. and served in the U.S. Navy aboard U.S.S. John F. Kennedy. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Stone) Puckett, whom he married Sept. 4, 2004; one daughter, Sheri (Jeremy) Edenfield of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Sarah and Brooklyn Edenfield; three stepdaughters, Sumer (Kenny) McCray of Lynchburg, Alicia Carr, Denica Stone both of Dayton and Greg Carr of Fairborn; three brothers, Mark (Robin) Puckett and Brian (Jeannette) Puckett, both of Hillsboro and Jason (Linda) Puckett of Seaman; one sister, Cheryl (Steve) Reeder of Bethel; mother-in-law, Yvonne Abercrombie of Kentucky; three sisters-in-law, Patricia (Luther Seay) Simpson of Kentucky, Lisa Svatba of Kentucky and Kathy (Brad) Hart of Michigan; one aunt, Wilma Creekmore of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

There will be no services observed. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
