Florence M. Nichols, 86, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born May 18, 1935, in Carmel, the daughter of the late Homer and Mary (Funk) Nichols.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene.
Florence is survived by three children, Donald (Vickie) Nichols of Hillsboro, Sharon (Rick) Fithen of Hillsboro and Sandra (Michael) Cottrell of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Ann Curtin of Hillsboro; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Roscoe Nichols, on Aug. 5, 1978; and two sisters, Kathleen Taylor and Eveleen Crouch.
Graveside services will take place Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Carmel Cemetery.
