Esther Lynn Adkins, 60, of New Vienna, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
She was born Aug. 19, 1960 in Lynchburg, the daughter of the late Alva and Lois (Morrow) Chaney.
She served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a computer technician.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Phillip) McAdams and Sarah Adkins; grandchildren, James, Bryan, Savannah and Isabella McAdams; siblings, Linda Chaney, Dave Chaney and Paul (Sharon) Chaney; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had many friends that loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg is serving the family.
