Elaine E. Thacker

Elaine E. Thacker, 90, of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 at her home. 

She was born April 25, 1934 in Fargo, N.D., a daughter of the late Lester and Ella Hoirup Jacobson. 

Elaine was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Spokane Washington. She dedicated her life as a Registered Nurse and a loving wife and mother. 

Elaine married Harold F. Thacker on March 19, 1955, and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1990.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Slepicka of Fairborn and Nichole Thomas of Dayton; Cyndi’s children, Erica Oller and Isaiah Slepicka; Nichole’s son, Trent (Desiray) Thomas; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Jacobson of Missoula, Mont.; one brother-in-law, Ronald Hulme of Kalispell, Mont.; her lifelong best friend, Rita White of Kalispell, Mont.; and all living relatives of the Jacobson and Thacker families.

In keeping with Elaine's wishes, cremation will take place. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Harold, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. The service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort is serving the family.
