Eileen M. Patton, 90, of the Marshall community, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018.

She was born in Highland County on Oct. 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Cleo E. and Madge (Kier) Shaffer.

Eileen was a member of the Marshall United Methodist Church.

Eileen is survived by her three sons, Steven C. (Lynne) Patton of Hillsboro, Jeffrey E. (Shelley) Patton of Hillsboro and James E. (Ellen) Patton of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Autumn (Nathan) Pecco, Travis (Melanie) Hill, Kayleesue (Riley) Laber, Stacy Hill, Frank Jacob (Brittany) Patton, Jeffrey N. Patton, Hannah L. Patton and Bailey E. Patton; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. “Bud” Patton, on April 29, 1991; brother, Richard “Dick” Shaffer; and sister, Juanita L. Golden.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Marshall Cemetery.
