Edward L. Harrison, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1948 in Wabash, Ind.
He was a compliance officer for the EPA. He was a graduate of Indiana University and was a member of the Indiana University football team that played in the 1968 Rose Bowl.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Kraus) Harrison, whom he married June 12, 1982; his children, Kelly M. Daisley and Katherine S. Kearney, both of New York; two grandchildren, Molly and Abby Kearney; siblings, Vickie (Robert) White of Indiana, Gerri (Sandy) Werry of Indiana, Jim (Mary Jane) Harrison of Hillsboro, Kevin (Deanna) Harrison of Indiana and Bobby (Tina Bell) Harrison of Hillsboro; mother, Cleo Virginia Hawkins of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
