Douglas Allen Bohl, 56, of Sugar Tree Ridge, passed away Wednesday evening, Aug. 3, 2016 at home surrounded by his loved ones. 
 
He was born May 6, 1960 in West Union, the son of Howard Glenn and Phyllis Ilene Emery Bohl.
 
Doug was a member and elder of the Mowrystown Church of Christ. He worked at General Electric in Peebles and was a lifelong farmer.
 
In addition to his parents, other surviving family members are his wife, Tina Bohl, whom he married on July 23, 1983; two sons, Jason (Ashley) Bohl and Jared Bohl; two daughters, Sarah (Jeremy) Hatfield and Marissa (Cory) Copas; three sisters, Angela (Nolan) Walker, Lisa (Mark) St. Clair and Cynthia (Ken) Stiers; five grandchildren, Jacob, Willow, River, Ezra and Leighton; and many nieces and nephews.
 
Services will be held at Mowrystown Church of Christ, Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery in Taylorsville.
 
Friends will be received at Mowrystown Church of Christ, 28 W. Main St., Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 from 4-8 p.m.

Edgington Funeral Home is serving the family.
