Doris Marie Jamhour, 56, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 16, 1965, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Sylvia (Williams) Ames.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Hillsboro.
She is survived by her children, Michael, Marcus and Rashauna Watts, all of Springfield; three grandchildren; Michael Jr., Londyn and Avery; siblings, Berry (Lisa) Ames of Lima, Tina Captain of Leesburg, Bruce Ames of Springfield and Romona Ames of Springfield; her mother, Sylvia Ames of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Ames.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church in Hillsboro with H. Scott Lattimer officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday at the church.
The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
