Doris Jean Holland, 83, of Hillsboro, formerly of Buford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born on July 30, 1935 in Buford.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Duane Holland of Georgia, Ragene (Mike Clay) Adams of Frankfort, Devin (Louise) Holland of Tennessee and Rhett (Sherri) Holland of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Dane Holland, Raymond Holland, Missi Holland, Matthew Holland, Scot Myrick, Trisha Wilkin, Josh Weddel, Morgan Holland, Hannah Holland and Phoebe Holland; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Wardlow of Williamsburg, Brenda Borgemenke, Debbie Hamilton and Brett Glover, all of Buford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Holland, on March 21, 1981; one son, Ronald Holland; and both parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home with Jeff Lyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
